How to be forgiven, and receive eternal life
Information from God -- to you!
God's Bible says, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
So you are loved by God, and important to Him – because He created you. He understands our human failings, and He will forgive you no matter what you have done. That’s why He gave His son Jesus Christ to die on the cross -- to pay the price for our sins.
Below is the road to forgiveness, and being saved for eternity. Read these scriptures:
“All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
“The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ.” (Romans 6:23)
“God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us…. Having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.” (Romans 5:8-9)
“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10)
So, pray this prayer out loud:
“God, I thank you that you love me, and that Jesus loves me, and died on the cross for my sins. I repent of my sins. I ask you to forgive me, fill me with your Holy Spirit, and help me live right. Thank you for saving me. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.”
